Joyce J Needham, 72, a resident of the Cartwheel Nursing Home in Gonzales, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2006, after a battle with breast cancer. Prior to November 2005, Mrs. Needham was a resident of san Antonio. She was born to Hoyle H. and Estelle Grant Wear on February 25 1934 in San Antonio and attended Burbank High School in San Antonio. She is survived by two brothers, Hoyle H Wear and wife Peggy Of Spring Texas, and Harold H Wear and wife Judy of Sattler Texas: three children Linda L Hardin and husband J.C. of Floresville Texas, Cindy S Munson and Husband Charlie of Gonzales Texas and Ronnie E Needham of San Antonio Texas; eight grand children, April E Litton, Becky S. Zastrow, Adam L Hardin, all of Floresville Texas, Katy L Munson, Elizabeth S Munson both of Gonzales Texas. Ronnie E Needham Jr., Bonnie J Needham and Tiffany M Needham, all of Surry County N.C.

Also surviving her is a special niece, Deborah ann Anderson and husband Dusty of San Antonio Texas. a favorite cousin, Myrna L. Wear of Houston Texas and an uncle Joe E Grant of San Antonio.

Arrangements for cremation is under the direction of All Faiths Funeral services of Austin. Private interment of ashes will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio at an unset date. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Hospice.

Arraignments are under the direction of All Faiths Funeral Services of Austin.
