Passed away in Hollister, CA Thursday morning at the age of 66 after a short illness. Born July 27, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas. Came to Hollister 20 years ago and was a heavy equipment operator for Anderson Pacific Engineering Co. of Santa Clara.

Survived by his wife, Helen of Hollister and his children, Joe Serrano, Jr., Wife, Julie, of Los Banos, Patricia Pena, husband, Alex, of Hollister, Lorraine Serrano of San Jose and late Dinah Muro. Brother of Jess Serrano of Fremont, Anthony Serrano of San Martin, Ofelia Mendoza of Gilroy and Mary Naranjo of Hollister. Also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be this Sunday from 10 A.M. to 7 P.M. at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home in Hollister with a Rosary to be offered Sunday at 5 P.M. from the funeral home and proceed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a funeral Mass commencing at 10 A.M. Graveside services and burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery.
