Joseph Abraham Swindler

Mr. Joseph Abraham Swindler of 434 Clovis Place, beloved husband of Mrs. Lita Swindler, the father of Mrs. O.A. Brindlee, Mrs. Joseph Timmons, Mrs. Alex McLeod, Mrs. Mary Passmore, Mrs. John L. Haynes, and Mr. C.E. Passmore, the brother of Mrs. Carl Raymond and Mr. Edward J. Swindler and the grandfather of 16 grandchildren. Passed away in a local hospital Tuesday, December 31 at the age of 68 years.

Mr. Swindler was a resident of San Antonio for 47 years. A member of the Paintes Local Union No. 172, American Legion Woodrow Wilson Post No. 399, Community Lodge No. 1201 A.F. & A.M., a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Alzafar Shrine and a member of San Antonio Lodge No. 11 I.O.O.F.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 3, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the Alamo Funeral Home with interment in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
