Martha Ann King

Martha Ann, nee Harvey, wife of Wm. H. King, was born in Lawrence County, Alabama in 1824. She died in Burleson County, Texas, 29 September 1843, aged 19 years, 8 months, and 29 days. Buried with her is her infant daughter aged 2 days in the Old City Cemetery in Caldwell, Texas.

George W. Parker

George W. Parker was born about 1838 in Mississippi. He married Mrs. Sarah Ann Lewis Bird on 1 January 1864, in Burleson County, Texas. Sarah Ann was born 20 January 1840, a daughter of George R. and Irene Ryan Lewis, and the widow of Nathan Bird. Their only child, John F. Parker, was born 15 January 1865, in Burleson County, and married Sarah Ann Ryan, daughter of John Ryan. During the Fall Term of the Burleson County Court of 1866, Mrs. Sarah Ann Parker filed for divorce from George W. Parker. Mrs. Sarah Ann Parker died 26 March 1868, and is buried in Providence Cemetery in the Lewis family plot, in Burleson County, Texas. On 26 April 1868, George W. Parker married Melissa Morrison in Brazos County, Texas. John F. Parker was living with his grandmother, Mrs. Irene Ryan Lewis, in 1880, in Burleson County.
