T. O. MONTGOMERY of Llano, Texas who was going through the bottom with some horses was thrown from his horse at PARKER's upper store and his head was fractured. It is feared he will only live a few hours.

John E. PERRY and Robert L. SIMS, two young men of Waco were out buggy riding in the pretty moonlight Sunday night and while crossing the track of the Cotton Belt railroad, their horse became frightened and tipped them from the buggy under the wheels of a rapidly moving freight train. Both were badly mangled and decapitated. The horse was unhurt.

Mrs. Charles LAVENDER, age 81, native of France, but a Texan since 1831 died of congestion at Corpus Christi the other day.

J. C. JONES has offered a liberal reward for return of his dog. It is a small, black water spaniel with long shaggy ears.
