![]() | James House There are 6 family members in the picture (from left to right), Alma Farmer James (Mother), Maude James Taylor (Daughter [seated]), Gwilym Eynon James (Father), Hugh Eynon James (Son) [almost hidden in shrubs], (Seated in swing), Ray James Broaddus (Daughter), Thomas Franklin Farmer (Grandfather). Ray was born in 1900 and Thomas died in 1905, so 1903 or 1904 is pretty accurate for a date. James Family homestead from about 1904. It was located on South Thomas Street across from 1st Baptist Church in Caldwell, and I believe that the Billy Broaddus family still owns that lot (with another house built on it).
