William
O'Hair was
born 21 Feb 1821 in Kentucky; the son of Thomas and Rachel Janes
O'Hair. He
was in Texas by 1851 and served the community as sheriff,
county judge, county treasurer, and tax assessor. His
sister, Clarissa, was also in Burnet County,
and married Thomas Hopkins Wolf. He married first, in
Kentucky to ____ Kasen; second to Annice Wolf, who was the daughter of
Jacob
Wolf. Children
of William and ___ Kasen were: John,
Elizabeth, and Martha Children of William
and Annice were: Joseph,
Thomas, Helen, W. R., Minnie, Hopkins, Michael, Jack, and
Mary William
O'Hair died 3
Sept 1906 in Burnet County. His wife Annice died 29 June 1923 in Lampasas
