Thomas, Francis - Miss Bounce Stoner and Francis Thomas of Port Lavaca were married at the home of the bride's parents, Wednesday at 1 o'clock. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Thomas left for San Antonio for a short visit.

Tippit, Donald - License was issued Wednesday morning for the marriage of Donald Tippit, a young blacksmith of Port Lavaca, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Tippit of that place, to Miss Rosa Scheffer, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Scheffer of this city. The ceremony will take place at 8:30 this evening at the residence of the bride's parents in the northern part of the city, with Rev. J. E. Stulken officiating.
