Alto City Cemetery	313916W 0950451N	Alto City Cemetery is located of HWY 69 on Rusk Street 1/4 mile on the right in Alto, Texas.
Antioch Cemetery	315300N 0951849W	located about five miles SW of Jacksonville, Texas. South from U.S. highway 79 onto FM 747, then south on County Road 3111. The Methodist Church and cemetery are on top of a hill on the left side of County Road 3111.
Armstrong Harrison Cemetery		Armstrong/Harrison is located about one mile northwest of Alto on the south side of FM 2139
Arnold Cemetery		The Arnold Cemetery is in southern Cherokee County, 3 ½ miles northwest of Forest on FM 1911.
Arnwine Plot		Arwine Plot is located on Dr. Striplings yard at Lake Jacksonville.
Atoy Cemetery		There is no entrance sign. Atoy Cemetery is located east of Rusk, Texas, in the Atoy community. At the intersection of Hwy 69 & FM 343 just south of Rusk turn east. Go about 7 miles the cemetery is on the left side of the road.
Ball Cemetery at Alto		Ball cemetery is located on the Thomas Ball farm NE of Alto.
Ball Cemetery at Maydelle		Located about 3 miles southeast of Maydelle, in a woods, off dirt road ¾ mile.
Benge Cemetery	3152247N 0951911W	Located to the South and West of Jacksonville, Texas, On County Road 3111, 2.3 miles south of the Antioch community on the left. It is very small in a heavily wooded area.
Berry Cemetery	314307N 0951454W	Berry Cemetery is located on FM 1857 approximately seven miles southwest of Rusk, Texas, at a sharp bend in the road before you get to Sardis Cemetery.
Berryman Cemetery	314116N 0950124W	Berryman Cemetery is located 3½ miles northeast of Alto, on the old Forest Hills Plantation on CR 2501, .6 miles east of FM 241. The log house known as Forest Hills was built in 1847 on the property that was part of the original grant for which James Dill, first alcalde of Nacogdoches, petitioned the Spanish government in 1802.

Cedar Hill Cemetery Section Two	3147212N 0950863W	Cedar Hill Section Two is located on Bradley Road. From FM343 turn on North on Salem rd, then turn right on Reeder road, and left on Bradley. The cemetery will be on the right. There is no entrance sign. This cemetery is owned by the city of Rusk.

Conner Cemetery	314832N 0951735W	Located near Maydelle, Texas, just north of US Highway 84, on County Road 1708. It is physically part of the Mt. Comfort cemetery, but is a separated group
Cook Cemetery		Cook Cemetery is located 4.9 miles east of Alto on SH 21, then 2.6 miles north on 2501, at the end of CR 2526.

Couch Plot		The Couch Plot is located northeast of New Summerfield near the city limits.
Corinth Cemetery	320700N 0952416W	Corinth Cemetery is located on FM 346 south of the Teaselville Community. From the intersection of FM 346 & FM 344 go 2 miles south on FM 346. The cemetery is on the left beside Corinth Missionary Baptist Church.

Dill Graves		They have a private family cemetery 2 miles east on Alto on SH 21. The Dill graves are located along the right side of Highway 21, east of the Linnwood Community. From the intersection of U. S. Hwy. 69 & State Hwy. 21 in Alto go east on Hwy 21, 2.7 miles.
Dobson/Fox Cemetery		Dobson-Fox Cemetery is located ½ mile east of New Summerfield, on the south side of Highway 79 east.

Evans Cemetery		Evans Cemetery is located north of Highway 21 approximately one mile, in the Linnwood Community. This cemetery is also known as the Cummings-Houston Cemetery.

Glass Felps Cemetery		Glass-Felps cemetery, as the name implies, contains the graves of persons associated with the Glass and Felps families. It is located south of Jacksonville, Texas on the west side of FM 2138. It is difficult to see from the road as it is on a slight embankment up from the road shoulder, and behind some brushy growth. Large oak trees and Crepe Myrtles on top of the embankment will assist in locating it. It is almost exactly 4 miles south of the intersection of South Bolton St. and FM 2138.
Gossett Chapel	315958N 0951617W	This cemetery is located behind and on the south side of the Gossett Chapel Church of Christ at 1815 Elberta St. in Jacksonville, TX. The smaller Grimes Cemetery is enclosed with chain link fence to the south of the church.

Grimes Cemetery		Grimes Cemetery is located about two miles north of Jacksonville, Texas, out Elberta Street. It is south of the Gossett Chapel Church.

Holleyman Chapel Cemetery	314544N 0951856W	Holleyman Chapel Cemetery is located 3.2 miles south of HWY 84 on CR 2120. It is behind Holleyman Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Holsomback Cemetery		Holsomback is located on the old Highwas north of Wells about 1 ½ miles on Melvin Burroughs farm.
Hoot Cemetery		Hoot Cemetery is located in the Morrill Community off old Highway 69, south of Alto, Texas. The land was bought by Woodsmen of the World, back when Morrill was a thriving fruit shipping center. This was a free cemetery and several acres. Sadly, only a few grave markers remain.

Jarratt Cemetery	315444N 0951245W	Jarratt Cemetery is located in the Community of Turney, Texas. From Jacksonville take Hwy 69 south to FM 22, turn left. Go to CR 1514, turn right. The cemetery is on the right.
Jones Cemetery	315055N 0951152W	Jones cemetery is located south of Jacksonville Texas on the north side of CR 1605 which connects US 69 with FM 347. Turn to the right from US 69 onto CR 1605 and go exactly one mile.
Kennedy Plot		Located on the Frances Miller Lester Place, west of HWY 110, north of Ponta. Family plot with only one marker.
Kilgore Family Plot	314842N 0950924W	The John Kilgore Family Plot is located at the entrance to the state Hospital in Rusk, TX, HWY 69.
Killough Cemetery		Located to the South of FM 855 about 3 miles West of Mt. Selman, Texas, on County Road 3431. Go west from Mt. Selman about 2 1/2 miles, then turn south on County Road 3405, go about 1/4 mile, then turn west on County Road 3411, go about 1/2 mile, then turn south on County Road 3431. County Road 3431 dead ends at the Killough site. All roads are paved roads but narrow in places. The cemetery is enclosed in a chain link fence, and in the center is a 12 foot monument built of native rocks and concrete.

Landrum Cemetery		Landrum cemetery is located on the Donnie Wallace place, off FM 294, W of Alto. We are told that this cemetery had only red rocks marking the graves

It is.7 mi. down the dirt road. You will have to go through a gate to reach the cemetery. The cemetery is on the right.

McCall Cemetery		McCall Cemetery is on a rural road about 3½ miles west of Forest, Texas.

Manning Cemetery		Manning Cemetery is located north of Central High Community, on a hill known as Graveyard Hill.
Martin Cemetery	314604N 0945919W	Martin Cemetery is located east of the Atoy community. At the intersection of Hwy 69 & FM 343 just south of Rusk turn east. Go about 9 miles the cemetery is on the left side of the road.
Mayfield Cemetery		Mayfield Cemetery is located five miles north of New Summerfield in the Blackjack Community, and a ¼ mile southeast of the schoolhouse.
Meador Cemetery	315615N 0951360W	From the intersection of U.S. 69 and U.S. 79 in downtown Jacksonville go east 2.1 miles on Highway 79 N to the intersection of 79 and Highway 204 (Loop 456) then south 1.5 miles to where Highway 204 turns east towards Nacogdoches 2.1 miles to the intersection of 204 and County Road 1411. The cemetery is on the southeast corner of the intersection and is marked with a sign over a gate. The entrance is about 100 yards south on County Road 1411.

Meredith Cemetery	314842N 0950523W	Meredith Cemetery is located off Hwy 84 east. It is approx. 3.5 miles from Rusk, look for the Bethel United Methodist Church, the sign is no longer there turn right on CR 1202 and go .4 miles. When the road T's you will see the church, go into the parking lot and look for CR 1203. The dirt road dead-ends into the cemetery. There is no entrance sign.
Miles Cemetery	315440N 0951849W	Located about four miles SW of Jacksonville, Texas. South from U.S. highway 79 onto FM 747, then south on County Road 3111. The cemetery is just over the top of a hill on the right side of County Road 3111. It is about two hundred yards down an unpaved lane on the right.
Mixon Cemetery		Mixon Cemetery is located ten miles northeast of Jacksonville, Texas at the intersection of FM 177 and Hwy 135. From Jacksonville go north on Hwy 69 to FM 2493 turn Rt and go 4.4 miles to FM 177. Then go .9 miles to the cemetery, which is on the rt.

Oakland Cemetery	3149147N 09513308W	Oakland Cemetery is located next to the Oakland Missionary Baptist Church in the Oakland Community. From the Square in Rusk go west on Hwy. 84 4.2 miles to FM 347. Turn Rt. on FM 347 and go .3 miles to the Oakland Church sign and turn Lt. The cemetery is back from the road.
Odom Farm Plot		Odom Farm plot is located on the old T.H. Odom farm, between Mt. Comfort and Union Grove. There are only two markers.
Old Baptist Cemetery		The Old Baptist cemetery is located just southwest of the site of the old town of Larissa. Heading west from Mt. Selman, Texas, on FM 855, turn left on CR 3405. Go about 1/4 mile and turn right on CR 3411. Go about 200 yards and turn left on CR 3435. Go about 100 yards and turn left again on CR 3436. CR 3436 goes across a small creek and curves right up a hill and comes to a dead end at a metal pasture gate.
Old Cunningham Cemetery		Old Cunningham cemetery is located west of Jacksonville, Texas, just to the south of County Road 3305, about 2 miles east of Corine cemetery. It is on private property on the Bearden Ranch.
Old Larissa Cemetery		Old Larissa cemetery is located just southwest of the site of the old town of Larissa. Heading west from Mt. Selman, Texas, on FM 855, turn left on CR 3405. Go about 1/4 mile and turn right on CR 3411. Go about 300 yards or just past CR 3435. The cemetery is on the left on a hillside, through a metal cattle gate.

Old Piney Grove Cemetery		Old Piney Grove cemetery is located about 1 mile SW of Piney Grove cemetery.
Old Rock Hill Cemetery (location)	320135N 0952327W	In the Reese community near Jacksonville, Texas. It is on the east side of County Road 3410 to the north of US Hwy 175. It is located on private property owned by the Mrs. Ollie Handley family, and is extremely overgrown and covered with brush and fallen trees
Parks Cemetery at Sardis		Located on FM 1857, in the feed lot of the Transier Dairy Farm, about 4 ½ miles sw of Rusk.
Parks Cemetery at Wells	314321N 0951349W	Parks Cemetery is located near Wells. From Wells, turn northeast on 6th St. Go five miles and cemetery is on the right just after a hard right curve. 6th St. becomes County Road 2631.
Pennel Chapel Cemetery		Pennel cemetery: From 747 south take CR 3111 to CR 3114 to CR 1804.
Pierces Chapel Cemetery		Pierce Chapel Cemetery is located about one mile south of Pierce Chapel, west of FM 747 on CR 1907.

Ragsdale Cemetery	315718N 0951825W	North of US Hwy 79 about 1 mile west from Jacksonville, Texas. Turn north on CR 3304 from US 79 across the railroad track and the cemetery is on the right. It is fenced and well maintained.
Reese Cemetery	320145N 0952401W0	Located in the Reese community near Jacksonville, Texas. It is on the south side of US Hwy 175. It is very well maintained and is easily accessed.

Reynolds Cemetery		Located west of Jacksonville, Texas on the Sid Dudley farm at Ironton. It is on private property and is really overgrown. Go west from Jacksonville on US 79 and turn right on CR 3210 then almost immediately turn right again on CR 3214 and cross a railroad track. Turn left just past the railroad on CR 3212. The Dudley home place is on the right about 100 yards down CR 3212, past the house about 200 yards and on the right side is a gate made of steel pipe and painted orange. Inside the gate there are several old logging road tracks but unless in a pickup, you should walk in. The cemetery is on the left hand track about 100 yards north.

Roach Cemetery		Roach Cemetery is located south of Maydelle on a paved road, and south of old Java.

Shady Grove Cemetery		Shady Grove Cemetery is located east of Rusk, Texas, north on Highway 84, near Shady Grove Community. Off of Hwy 84 turn N on CR 1316 approx. 2 miles cemetery is on the left at the site of the of old abandoned church.
Shiloh Cemetery	313955N 0950652W	Shiloh Cemetery is located west of Alto, Texas. From the intersection of Hwy 69 & Hwy 21 go west on Hwy 21 & .3 miles to FM 294. Turn right on FM 294 & go .1 miles to FM 752. Turn right on FM 752 & go 2.6 miles.
Shook Bluff Cemetery	312716N 0950045W	The Shooks Bluff Cemetery probably dates from before the Civil War. The site of the town, now a ghost town and the cemetery are about a mile from the Neches River. From Wells, go west on FM 1247 for 3.8 miles to the junction of FM 1819. Turn right (north) on FM 1247 for 6/10 miles and turn left on a dirt road. There is no road or cemetery sign. Proceed west for 1.1 miles then turn right (north) on another dirt road and go 9/10 miles to the cemetery.

Smith Cemetery at Reese		Smith family cemetery is located in the Reese community near Jacksonville, Texas. It is on the west side of County Road 3411 to the north of US Hwy 175. Go North on County Road 3416 from US Hwy 175. Go about 2 miles and turn east on County Road 3414. Go about 1/4 mile and turn north again on County Road 3411. The cemetery will be on the left at about 1/2 mile. It is located on private property and cannot be seen from the road very well as it is overgrown with briars and brush.

Thompson Cemetery at Forest		Thompson Cemetery is located approximately a half mile west of Forest, Texas on CR 2754. The road dead-ends into the cemetery. You must cross a cattle guard to reach the cemetery.
Thompson Lake Palestine		Thompson Family Plots are located on Lake Palestine at 679 Crescent Street. From 69 N at Bullard turn on Main St. Main street becomes 344. Turn left on 346 in Teasville to Lakewood addition, turn left into the addition, turn left at the first street, then turn right on Crescent St.. It is at the first house on the Crescent St, in a fenced back yard at the home of Carl and Mary Slusher.
Thompson Plot		The Thompson Plot is located on the old Thompson Farm, between Stryker Lake and Walker Chapel, on the south side of FM 235, at a sharp corner. Four listings.

Turn south on CR 3220 and go about one mile and turn west on a dirt road which goes toward the river. About three-quarters of a mile down that road the cemetery is on the hill just before you start down into the slough of the river bottom.
