Martin Memorials was started in 1969 by Ray E. Martin and children, Jimmy and Brenda.  Ray eventually bought all the interests in the company.  Most of Ray's children have worked in some capacity of the operation since the beginning.

     This company specializes in the retail sales of monuments and all types of grave markers, primarily granite, but they do market some marble and bronze.  Their shop does the designing, layout, carving, sandblasting and setting in the cemetery.

     Martin Memorials has a number of salespeople outside the Coleman trade area.  They cover over a 300 mile radius in the sales and erecting of monuments.  They have 5 funeral homes representing them over the state of Texas.
