Tom and Sally Reeves Walker moved to Coleman in May, 1958.  Tom was stockholder and Funeral Director of Stevens Funeral Home from May 1958 to October 1977.

     They have three sons, all born in Coleman; John Timothy Walker, born August 25, 1959, Thomas Gilbert Walker, born June 26, 1963, and Walter Todd Walker, born June 24, 1967.

     The Walkers opened Walker Funeral Home at 401 Commercial Avenue in March 1978.  John Timothy Walker (married Ann Robin, September, 1981) was Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, September 1982, and is Assistant Funeral Director and Embalmer in charge.

     Employed with Walker Funeral Home since March 1978, is Mrs. Bessie Buie Hector, who has had 35 years of funeral service experience.  Mr. and Mrs. T. D. Reeves (Sally Walker's mother and father) were with the Tom. G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., Mr. T. D. Reeves passed away in June, 1982.
