In 2019 there was a dance studio located at 201 South Commercial Avenue.

Calina Mishay, of Abilene, painted a mural of a girl dancing under the moon with a dog, and a caption saying,
"So don't you dare
duck behind the clouds and hide.
  You help children dream ...
So its not so bad to be the MOON."

Unfortunately, by 2022, the mural had been painted over and the entire building painted black.
