Where We Are
Edwards County is in the southwest corner of the central portion of Texas. It's situated on the Edwards Plateau between
the western counties and the southern ones. The county seat is Rocksprings, a bit northeast of the center of the county.
Two other small communities have less than 100 people. The counties surrounding us, starting in the northwest and
continuing clockwise are
Sutton and
Kimble counties in the north and
Kerr and
Real counties in the east.
Uvalde and
Kinney counties are in the south and
Val Verde is to the west of us.
Other Texas counties.
