Joy Dean Boyd

Graveside services for Joy Dean Boyd, 60, of Rockwall are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday in Rome Cemetery in Athens with Irvin Mills officiating. 

Mrs. Boyd died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002. 

She was born Dec. 11, 1941, in El Paso to L.C. and Lora Mize Sharp. She was a resident of Rockwall since 1975 and a homemaker. 

Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Andrew Boyd of Rockwall; son, Larry Dean Boyd and wife, Michelle, of Cash; daughter, Lora Lee Elmore of Rockwall; sister, Barbara Miller and husband, Olen, of Athens; brother, Charles Sharp of Athens; four granddaughters, Cara, Amber, Crista and Emily; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Family will receive friends Saturday evening at Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall from 6-8 p.m.
