Hi everyone, My name is Holli
(Boone) Kees, and I'm the new co-coordinator for Henderson County
TXGenWeb site. I've been in Genealogical Research for about 7
years now...starting with my Father wanting to find out where his
Father was buried. That's what got me started and it's been
escalating since then. I've searched almost every cemetery in
Texas before I finally found my Grandfather in Wichita Falls,
Texas. It was quite an exciting search.I now work with the Henderson County Historical Commission and am a member of the Henderson County Historical Society as well as the Athens Genealogical Organization. I met Bunny while working for the Census Bureau in 1998 and became fast friends with her. We both have a lot in common, as we share a love of anything historical (in other words..anything older then we are).
On a personal note: I'm married to a wonderful man of going on 25 years now. Travis and I met and married in Dallas, Texas and we have 3 sons, My oldest is Travis "TK", who is 23 years old, Shawn, our 2nd son, died shortly after birth in 1981 from SIDS and my youngest Aaron who is 19 years old.

I have an older brother, Pokey who is also into Website Design, click on his name for his website, and a younger sister, Kristi who is dragged from cemetery to cemetery, courthouse to courthouse and library to library and never complains. My hobbies include building Doll Houses and decorating them, hunting with my husband (I just go along so I can bug him), mountain biking, oil and acrylic painting, photography and website designing.
