Bethel Man Dies;
Funeral Services Held Saturday

Funeral services were held here Saturday for W. T. Jackson, 86, who died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Addie Crabtree, in the Bethel community Friday morning at 9:15 o'clock after a lengthy illness.
Services were held from the Carroll and Lehr Memory Chapel at 4 p.m. with the Rev. B. B. Harper of Bethel officiating. Interment will be made Monday in the Draw Cemetery, near Tahoka.
Mr. Jackson had been a resident of Bethel since 1953, moving here from Tahoka. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by seven other daughters, Mrs. E .R. Winter of Fleming, New Mexico, Mrs. J. L. Dyess of Tyler, Mrs. Troy Beach of O'Donnell, Mrs. Brooks Ted?? of Austin, Mrs. Raymond Crutcher of Brownfield, Mrs. Clyde Morris of Hunterville, and Mrs. Billy Gene Siegler of Lubbock.
Funeral Services are Held Friday for Charlie Price
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon near Brownsboro for Charlie Price, 87, who died in a local hospital Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. after a lengthy illness.
Services were held from the Rock Hill church with the Rev. J. B. Stuart officiating, and interment was in the Rock Hill Cemetery. Carroll and Lehr of Athens was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Price had lived in and around Brownsboro for the past 40 years and was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, seven sons, Walter Price of Edom, Trammell, Noah, Cecil, Delbert, Arthur and Clyde Price, all of Brownsboro; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Price of Murchison, Mrs. Pearl Johnson of Rome, Georgia, and Miss Hazelene Price of Brownsboro, 13 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

Holland is Candidate For Bachelor of Laws
Jack Holland of Athens is among 87 University of Texas students who are candidates for the Bachelor of Laws degree. Law Dean W. Page Keeton has announced.
Commencement exercises will be held June 4.
