Injured In Fall Cross Roads Boy Dies Of Gas Gangrene

Bill Willingham, 12, son of M/M C. C. Willingham of Cross
Roads, who was carried to the Baylor Hospital in Dallas on
Sunday, July 31st with a broken arm, died in that institution
on Thursday following as the result of the setting up of gas
gangrene.

The boys arm was broken in a fall from a donkey on which
he was playing circus. He was brought here for treatment,
but on account of the seriousness of the case, local
physicians advised that the boy be rushed to a hospital.

Funeral services were from the family home at Cross Roads
on Friday afternoon, August 5th Burial took place in the
Cross Roads cemetery.
