Native of County Dies At Home In Eustace Friday


J. S. (Shade) Graham, 68, native citizen of Henderson county, died at
his home in Eustace at 5:38 Friday morning. He had been ill for
several weeks.

Funeral services were held on Saturday with burial following at
Moorehead cemetery. Services were conducted by Rev. J. W. Williford
and Rev. O. C. Davis.

Born in the Cottonwood community near Eustace, Mr. Graham had lived
his entire life there and at Eustace.

Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Melvin Graham of
Quinlan, Texas and Tommie Graham of Baytown, Texas; one sister, Mrs.
W. L. Ballard, of Eustace and two brothers, George of Eustace and A.
G. of Cottonwood.

Deceased was the son of the late Hugh Graham early day settler in
this county and one time representative in the Legislature.

Funeral Services For Mrs. Hable Held At 3:00 Friday Afternoon

Funeral services for Mrs. P. A. Hable, widow of the late Paul
Hable, were held at Corsicana at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon , with
burial following in that city.

Mrs. Hable, 45, was found dead in her bathroom at her home there
late Wednesday. Officals said she had been dead for several hours.

Attending the funeral from Athens were Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Hable,
Miss Myrtle and Raymond Hable and Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Patterson.

Deceased is survived by a daughter, Pauline 8, two sisters and one
brother. The child has been living with Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Patterson
here since the death of her father about two years ago.
