Trinidad Youth Fatally Injured In Fall From Car
----------

Henry Sells of Trinidad was fatally injured at about 9:30 o'clock Sunday night when he fell out of an automobile in which he and two other Trinidad youths were riding through Cedar Creek bottom.

The three boys had been to the city and were enroute to their home in Trinidad when the accident occurred. Sells was said to have been standing up between the seats of the car, and old model Chevrolet touring car without a top, and was cautioned by his comrades several times to sit down before he fell out. When the car rolled onto the bridge in Cedar bottom a sudden bump caused him to pitch headlong out of the vehicle. He landed on the floor of the bridge head first and slid along the rough boards bruising his right shoulder.

The injured boy was picked up in an unconscious condition, by his companions and taken to the office of L. W. Pulley at Trinidad but the blow on the head had placed the boy's condition beyond medical aid, for when reaching the office he was in a dying condition and blood was gushing out of his mouth and his left ear. Dr. J. A. Fowler and Constable A. W. Leopard of Malakoff were called by Dr. Pulley shortly after the party had reached his office. The injured youth died, without regaining consciousness, about 11 o'clock.
