Services for J. T. Murry, 54, are set for 2 p.m. today in Foster
& Brown Funeral chapel with the Rev. Jerry L. Dunn
officiating.
Burial will be in Rome Cemetery.
Mr. Murry died Saturday morning in a Dallas hospital after a long
illness.
He was born Sept. 1, 1923 in Henderson County and had lived all
of his life in the henderson County and Dallas areas.
He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Murry.
Mr. Murry was a retired proofreader of Taylor Publishing Company
and a World war II veteran.
Survivors include one son, James Gaylon Murry of Mabank; one
daughter Mrs. Debra Sue Hatcher of Dallas; two sisters; Mrs. Vera
Oxford of Eustace
and Mrs. Lela Horton of Athens; one grandson.
