Funeral Friday For Opelika Resident Who Died At Abilene June 29, 1939

Funeral services were held Friday at Red Hill cemetery
for Miss Lillie Cox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Cox of
Opelika, who died at Abilene on Tuesday, June 20th.
Services were held at Red Hill cemetery at 3:30 o’clock
and burial followed there.
Miss Cox died in an Abilene hospital where she had been
ill for about two years.
In addition to her parents she is survived by four brothers,
Wesley and Ollie Cox of Opelika and Cager and Jack Cox of
Kilgore; three sisters, Mrs. Winnie Norris of Murchison; Mrs.
Vila Burns of Murchison and Mrs. Ed Kent of Opelika.
