Athens, Texas
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Zion Hill
Assembly of God Church for Mrs. D. E. Cassity, 59, who died
Thursday morning at the home
of a son in Longview. The Rev. Adith Pulley will conduct the
services, and burial will be in the Zion Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Cassity had lived in Henderson County most of her life.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Henry P. Cassity of Longview;
three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Snyder of Summers. Ark., Mrs.
Ima Ruth Myer of
Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Charlene Joyce Gee of Pinkton; six
brothers, two sisters and five grandchildren.
Note: Death certificate shows Eva Mae Cassity Born Aug 19 1894 in
Texas and died Mar 4, 1954 in Longview, Gregg County, Texas.
