Mrs. R. C. Clayton Buried Sunday At  Rock Hill Cemetery
 
Funeral services for Mrs. R. C. Clayton, 70, whose death occured Saturday morning
at 7:45 o'clock were held at Rock Hill   Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Carroll &
Lehr funeral home of Athens being in charge.  The services were conducted  
by Rev. Coltharp of Tyler.   Six sons of the deceased acted as pall bearers.  
Mrs. Clayton, a native of Mississippi, had resided in the Rock Hill area between
Brownsboro and Chandler for more than  half a century.  She had been a member
of the Rock Hill Baptist church for fifty-five years.   The deceased is survived by
her husband, three sons, Will, Walter, and R. C. Clayton and one sister, Mrs. Azzie
Gore  of Commanche, Texas.   Her death occured following an illness with
paralysis which developed slowly.
