Funeral services were held here Sunday for Richard W. Beam, 75,
Route 4, Athens, who died Saturday at Terrell after an extended
illness.
Burial was in the Zion Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Beam, born in Smith County, had lived in Henderson County
most of his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Odd
Fellows Lodge
and the Central Baptist Church.
Survivors are several nieces and nephews.
Note: Death Certificate shows Richard Beam born July 17, 1884 and
died April 30, 1960. Shows Father Jim Beam and Mother Martha
Garland.
