Addie Louise Crabtree Wood

Services for Addie Louise Wood, 80, of Athens are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Eastern Hill Church of Christ with David Mahon and Dean Brookshire officiating.

Burial will follow at Meredith Cemetery under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home of Athens.

Mrs. Wood died Aug. 9, 2002, in Athens.

She was born Aug. 1, 1922, in Lincoln County, N.M., to Jobe Edward and Addie Mae Jackson Crabtree.

Mrs. Wood was a resident of Athens most of her life and was a member of Eastern Hills Church of Christ. She was a retired seamstress, having worked at Berlin Coat Factory, Mr. Fine's and Hollywood Vassarette a Division of Munsingwear.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jasper, Elmer, Lloyd and Tony Crabtree; and sister, Ruby Crabtree.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Fletcher Gordon Wood of Athens; sons and daughter-in-law, Gerald and JoAnn Wood of Murchison and Harold Wood of the Cedar Creek Lake area; daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and Andy Fay of Tyler and Sandy Roberson of Denton; brother, Benny Crabtree of Athens; sisters, Lillian McGregor, Lena Pearl Davis, Jackie Snowden and Frances Jean Terrell, all of Athens; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Roberson, Tim DiMaggio, Chris DiMaggio, David Wood, Tommy Snowden, Dewayne Crabtree, Wesley Wood, Larry McGregor, Gary McGregor, Jessie Snowden, Derrell Snowden and David Crabtree.

Family will receive friends from 4-5:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Fletcher Gordon Wood

Services for Fletcher Gordon Wood, 82, of Athens are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Chaplain Walter Ferrell officiating.

Graveside services with honors under the auspices of Veterans of Foreign Wars District Honor Guard will follow at Meredith Cemetery under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home of Athens.

Mr. Wood died Aug. 11, 2003, in Tyler.

He was born May 2, 1921, in Onion Creek to Henry Houston and Minnie Lizzie Williams Wood.

Mr. Wood was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and past commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4133. He was a retired auto body repairman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Addie Louise Crabtree Wood, in 2002; and brothers, Henry Eugene Wood and Victor Durwood Wood.

Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Gerald and JoAnn Wood of Murchison and Harold Wood of Payne Springs; daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and Andy Fay of Tyler and Sandra Roberson of Denton; sisters, Margie Israel of Stockton, Calif., and June Skinner of Lodi, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lillian Crabtree McGregor

Services for Lillian McGregor, 85, of Athens were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Bethel Christian Church with Darrell Hoffmaster officiating.

Burial will follow at Meredith Campground under the direction of Foster & Brown Funeral Home of Athens.

Mrs. McGregor died Oct. 9, 2004, in Athens.

She was born Aug. 14, 1919, in Wise County to Jobe Edward Crabtree and Addie Mae Jackson Crabtree.

Mrs. McGregor was a member of Bethel Christian Church. She belonged to the United Furniture Workers of American and was retired from Curtis Mathes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene McGregor, in 1988; sister, Addie Lou Wood; and brothers, Elmer, Tony and Lloyd Crabtree.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Chester Dixon of Athens; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Barbara McGregor of Athens and Garry and Connie McGregor of Kaufman; sisters and brother-in-law, Lena Pearl Davis, Jackie Snowden and Frances Jean and Coy Terrell, all of Athens; brother and sister-in-law, Benjamin and Doris Crabtree of Athens; 11 grandchildren; seven grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.
