W. P. Millender, Age 50, Passed Away Sunday


Wiley P. (Pruett) Millender, aged 50, years died at the family home on South
Palestine street Sunday morning at 9 o'clock. He had been in ill health
for a number of years and had been confined to his bed for several months.

Funeral services were held at the Miller grave yard a few miles south
of the city at 11 o'clock Monday morning, by Rev. Edwards.

Deceased is survived by his mother, Mrs. M. J. (Martha) Millender, four brothers,
Claude of Houston, Joe of Mexia, Albert and Willis of this city; three
sisters, Mrs. Ed Hayes of Lubbock, Mrs. T. L. Davis and Mrs. Bradley
Miller of Athens.
