Colorado City
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kiker and Son Chapel here for Mrs. Stella Beach, 79, who died in the McKnight Hospital Wednesday night after an illness of three months.
Burial will be in the Colorado City Cemetery.
A Colorado City resident since 1926, she was born in Hamilton County December 25, 1886, and married Ben Beach in 1904 in Hamilton County. Mr. Beach died in 1953.
Mrs. Beach was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Jake Beach of Colorado City; five daughters, Mrs. Ed (Audrey) Marshall of Santa Barbara, California, Mrs. P. J. (Mona) Owens of Abilene, Mrs. Charlie (Hilma) Meeks of Tujunga, California, Mrs. Jim (Elwanda) Jones, Jr. of Colorado City and Mrs G. L. (Jean) Posey of Bastrop, Louisiana; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Lane of Lubbock and Mrs. Francis Reinheimer of Texarkana, Texas; 26 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
