MARGIE BEASON

Mrs. Margie Beason, age 83, died Sunday, September 21, 2008, in a local care center. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2008, in the Colorado City Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Shields officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Beason was born April 29, 1925, in Colorado City to Dewey and Mary Lee Crowder Tidwell and had been a lifelong resident. She married Ovie Sanders in Snyder in 1940. He preceded her in death in 1964. She then married Charles Franklin in Colorado City in 1966. He preceded her in death in 1985. She then married "Lucky" Beason in 1991 in Colorado City. He preceded her in death in 2007. She owned and operated several cafes in Colorado City and was also a farm wife. She was a member of the Baptist church.
She is survived by a grandson, David and wife, Meredith Sanders Jr. of Graham; granddaughter, Lori and husband, Kelly Webb of Georgetown; her daughter-in-law, Rhetta Sanders of Georgetown; great grandchildren, Marleigh and Sarah Sanders of Graham, Bailey Nolan, Kelee Escover and Jack Webb of Georgetown; longtime good friends, David and Melody Stubblefield of Colorado City.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Dave Sanders.
