BURLESON – Funeral services for Dorcas Bedford, 82, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel in Cleburne with Rev. Gary Little officiating. Burial will follow at noon on Thursday, March 4, in the Colorado City Cemetery.

Mrs. Bedford passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2010, in Alvarado. She was born in Quinlan on March 17, 1927, the daughter of Sybil (Hancock) and Willie Flem Little. She was a retired nanny and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Joshua.

Mrs. Bedford is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Bedford; brothers, Earl and Jim Little; and sister, Evelyn Little.

She is survived by her sons, Johnny Bedford and wife, Desiree, of Lubbock, and Tommy Bedford and wife, Priscilla, of Plano; daughter, Bobbie Swan and husband, Clyde, of Burleson; brothers, Joe Little and wife, Margie and Glen Little and wife, Barbara, all of Quinlan; sister, Wanda Boyd; sister-in-law, Cora Little, both of Greenville; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
