Mrs. Jan Blassingame, age 88, of Colorado City, died
Thursday night, June 20, 2013, in a local care center.
Graveside services will be at 10 AM Saturday, June 22, 2013,
in the Colorado City with Rev. Jackie Brem officiating.
Services are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale
Funeral Home. Mrs. Blassingame was born June 19, 1925 in Dunn, Texas to Hugh F. and Stella Lay Billingsley. She married Murrell Blassingame on August 14, 1943. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1988. She was a cosmetologist for 40 years, loved doing art work, painting and drawing. She is survived a brother, Ted and wife Freda Billingsley of Snyder; 2 grandsons: Michael and wife Cyndy Browne of Colorado City and Randall and wife Sherry Brown of Abilene; 2 great Grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Nelda Jan Blassingame, a daughter, Ann Browne and a grandson, Cody Browne. The family will receive friends following the graveside at the Oak St. Baptist Church. |
