HELEN COMPTON BOYCE
1921 - 2001

Mrs. Helen Compton Boyce, 79, of Snyder and formerly of Midland, died Thursday, September 13, 2001 in a Snyder hospital. Services were held Saturday, September 15, 2001 in the Kiker-Seale Chapel with Reverand Robert Boyce officiating. Burial followed in the Loraine Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.


Mrs. Boyce was born December 23, 1921 in Loraine to Sidney and Amanda Hopper Compton. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was the widow of Steve Boyce.


She is survived by two sons, Robert Boyce of Eden, Texas and Royce Boyce of Midland; a sister, Beulah Cox of Colorado City; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the American Red Cross for disaster relief in New York City and Washington, D. C.
