COLORADO CITY RECORD, THURSDAY, MARCH 7, 1991

E. P. Swenson Boyd, 90, died on Monday, March 4, 1991 at Leisure Lodge Nursing Home.
Services were held at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, with the Reverend Glenn Roenfeldt
officiating.
Burial followed in the Colorado City Cemetery.
Boyd was born on Tuesday, August 21, 1900 in Comanche to Eugene and Ellie Mae Boyd, both deceased.
A Southern Baptist, Boyd was a retired deacon of First Baptist Church of Colorado City.
He was a retired meat cutter.
Boyd is survived by his wife, Verna Mae Boyd of Colorado City, three sons, Jerry Boyd of Babson Park, Florida, Scott Boyd of Leander and Jamie Boyd of San Antonio.
He is also survived by a brother, E. B. Boyd of Oklahoma; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
