Jessie Coy Britton, 79, died Thursday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Big Spring.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church, in Loraine, with Rev. Jim McKee officiating. Burial will be in the Loraine Cemetery. Arrangemants are under the direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home, Colorado City.

Mr. Britton was born June 12, 1897, in Montgomery County, Arkansas, and lived most of his life in Loraine. He was a Navy veteran of World War I, and entered the VA Hospital, May 23, 1967.

He is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Lessie McCollum, Loraine, Mrs. Paul Terrell, Sweetwater, Mrs. O. B. Tannon, San Diego, California, Mrs. Billie Loette Willis and Mrs. Ruth Brians, of Abilene; one brother, L. T. Britton of Carlsbad, New Mexico.
