Irene Browne

Mrs. Irene Browne, 83, of Colorado City, died Saturday, October 13, 2001 at her
residence. Graveside services were held Sunday in the Colorado City Cemetery
under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Browne was born January 22, 1918 in Westbrook to Harvey and Earlene Calaway
Leach and had been a lifelong resident of Mitchell County. She married C. E.
Browne on September 7, 1935 in Colorado City. He preceded her in death on
January 14, 1982. She was a retired nurse and a Baptist.
She is survived by a son, Robert Leon Browne of Sterling City, two
grandchildren, Michael Wayne Browne and Randal Leon Browne; four
great-grandchildren, Cody, Cady, Cameron, and Kaesey.
