COLORADO CITY (RNS) ~ Mrs. B.N. Carter, 80, died at 3:40 p.m. Friday in Root Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Kiker and Son Funeral Home.

Born August 20, 1885 in Milam County, she married B. N. Carter there in 1911. They came to Colorado City in 1918. Her husband, a retired attorney, died last June.

She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Inez Hock of Colorado City, Mrs. Louise Bollinger of Snyder and Mrs. Cecil Smith of Burbank, California; two sons, B. N., Jr. of Burbank and Charles of Van Nuys, California; a brother, A. R. Osborn of Lubbock; a sister, Mrs. J. M. Knowles of De Leon; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
