Richey S. Cary, age 67, of Rockdale, formerly of Loraine, died April 27, 2005. Masonic graveside services were held in the Loraine Cemetery.

Mr. Cary was born July 9, 1937. He graduated from Loraine High School in 1955 and from Texas Tech in 1960. He was employed with Chevron Oil Company for 37 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rites and the Shriners.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Mickey Cary; his father, Garland Cary; his mother, Biddie (Helen Richey Cary) Jones and a sister, Golda Redwine.

Survivors include his wife, DeAnna of Rockdale; two sisters, Linda Cary Baker of Navasota and Glenda Cary of Stamford; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
