MRS. C. W. CLAXTON BURIED SATURDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. C. W. Claxton, 54, of Route 3, Colorado City, Texas, were held at the South Side Baptist Church in Colorado City with the Reverand R. N. Power, pastor, officiating assisted by Reverend J. E. Whisenant of Crane, Texas Saturday.
Mrs. Claxton was born February 7, 1899 in Jack County and had lived in Mitchell County 52 years. She was married in Loraine on February 14, 1920.
Survivors include her husband, two sons, Audavee Claxton of Loraine and Wayne Claxton of Colorado City; two daughters Mrs. Aaron (Gladys) Oden and Juanice Claxton, both of Colorado City; three brothers, Morgan and Harry Garrett of Deming, New Mexico, and Jim Garrett of Sacramento, California; and a sister, Mrs. Nannie Simmons of Henrietta, Texas. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
