CLEPPER RITES TODAY AT C-CITY

COLORADO CITY ~~ Funeral for Lawson Lee Clepper, 33 year Colorado City roughneck was to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Kiker and Son Chapel.

Burial will be in the Colorado City Cemetery.

Mr. Clepper lost a nine month battle to cancer Friday in Root Memorial Hospital. He had been living in San Angelo until the illness began.

He had lived in Colorado City most of his life. He married Helen Jones here on October 16, 1945.

Survivors are his wife; two children, Linda and Glenda; the parents, Oscar Clepper of Robert Lee and Mrs. Nannie Parsons of DeLeon; a brother, Clyde of San Angelo; two sisters, Mrs. Paul McNatt of Fort Worth and Mrs. Earl D. Dorris of Monahans.
