Gladys Estelle Conaway

Estelle Conaway, 95, passed away Thursday, March 8,2012 in Colorado City. Funeral services for Estelle will be Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at 22nd and Austin Church of Christ. Roy Hardesty will be officiating services. Family visitation will be Friday, March 9, 2012, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Estelle was born January 8, 1917 in Floyd County, Texas ,to parents John Milton and Mary Alice Rogers. She married John E "Jake" Conaway on May 25, 1934 in Mitchell County. Estelle has been in Colorado City area since 1918. Estelle is a member of 22nd and Austin Church of Christ. She loved going to church. Estelle loved her family very and was a wonderful mother. She was married to Jake many wonderful years until his passing on October 1, 1988.
Survivors are: Daughters: Rita Joyce Hardigree and husband Jimmy of Colorado City, Merrie Beth Jackson and husband Preston of Colorado City, Barbara Conaway of Conroe,TX and Son: Bobby McGann of Levelland ,TX, 16 grandchildren and Great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by: Son: Husband: Jake Conaway, Son:Kenneth Alvin Conaway and Daughter: Nelda Gail McGann.
Pallbearers will be: Brent Hardegree, Greg Hardegree, Blake Hardegree, Brian McGann, Brad McGann, Brandon McGann. Honorary Pallbearers will be: BJ Honesto and Kevin Williams.
All arrangements are under the care and directon of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
