MRS. IDA CONNELL

COLORADO CITY -- Mrs. Ida Connell, 51, died Friday in the West Texas Medical Center in Abilene after a short illness. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Kiker-Rains-Seale Chapel.
Officiating will be the Rev. Jack McCowan, pastor of Central Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Colorado City Cemetery.
Mrs. Connell was born December 6, 1921 in Colorado City and in 1940 married Henry S. Connell in Lampasas. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Mrs. Madge Barr of Colorado City; two daughters, Mrs. Earl King and Mrs. Charles Craig, both of Colorado City; two sons, Max of Dallas and James of Midland; two sisters, Mrs. George Proctor of Colorado City and Mrs. Jessie Hutcheson of Austin; one brother, Albert Doss, Jr. of Lott; and three grandchildren.
