MRS. COOK FUNERAL SET AT COLORADO CITY


COLORADO CITY ~~ Funeral for Mrs. Drue Colbert Cook, 90, Mitchell County resident since 1903, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home.
Born February 16, 1871, in Mississippi, she married Hannibal Cook in Bell County in 1897. Her husband died in 1915.
Survivors include two sons, J.C. (Bill) of Colorado City and Elmo of Austin; three daughters, Mrs. Farris Lipps and Mrs. Juanita Johnson, both of Colorado City and Mrs. W.B. McGill of Fairhope, Alabama; a half brother, G.F. Colbert of Colorado City; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
