Obituary For: Mrs. Kaye Nell Cornutt
Mrs. Kaye Nell Cornutt, age 71, died Thursday, July 18, 2013, in an Abilene medical center. Services will be a 10 AM Saturday, July 20, 2013 in the First Baptist Church in Loraine with Rev. Dale Hartley officiating. Burial will follow in the Loraine Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cornutt was born November 4, 1941 in Loraine, Texas to Ralph and Sue Stewart Lankford and was a graduate of Loraine High School. She married Billy Cornutt on December 23, 1960 at the Methodist Church in Loraine, Texas. She worked for the Mitchell County Appraisal District for 26 years with 13 years as Chief Appraiser.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Cornutt of Loraine; a son, Mark and his wife, Zula Cornutt of Colorado City; 4 grandchildren: Nolan and wife, Krisha of Loraine, Mitch Cornutt of Lubbock, Sam Cornutt of Colorado City, and Zera Cornutt of Colorado City and 1 great grandchild, Landry Cornutt of Loraine.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Sue Lankford.
