Services for Edna Mae Erwin, 83, of Colorado City have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday in Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ted Spear and Rev. Fred Smith officiating. Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Erwin died October 14, 1994 at Methodist Hospital, Lubbock. She was born August 29 1911 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She married Cecil Erwin on July 14, 1928 in Mitchell County. He died January 27, 1991.
Mrs. Erwin was a lifelong resident of Mitchell County. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Colorado City. She is preceded in death by one grandson, Jeff Terry.
Survivors include three daughters, Emma Hopper of Colorado City, Donna Oliver of Colorado City and Neta Terry of Morton; two brothers, L. W. "Jack" Carpenter of Lubbock and Kent Carpenter of Big Spring; two sisters, LaVerne Muinch of Thousand Oaks, California and Ruby McMeekin of San Angelo; seven grandchilfren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
