COLORADO CITY (RNS) ~~ Luther Feaster, 85, retired Mitchell County farmer, died at 6:25 p.m. Saturday in Root Valley Fair Lodge in Colorado City after a long illness.
Funeral is pending at Kiker and Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Feaster was born November 13, 1884 in South Carolina and came to Mitchell County more than 60 years ago. He married Winnie Graham January 3, 1909, in Dunn.
Mr. Feaster was a member of Dunn Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Albert of Susanville, California and Lonnie of Vealmoor; four daughters, Mrs. Bill Adams and Mrs. Bill Henderson, both of Colorado City, Mrs. Grady Lloyd of Monrovia, California and Mrs. Gordon Roberson of Orangevale California; one brother, Claude of Mission; two sisters, Mrs. E. L. Smith and Mrs. R. Y. Hammond, both of Colorado City; 30 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
