MRS. FINLEY DIES AT 100

LORAINE ~ Funeral for Mrs. W.H. Finley who died Monday afternoon at the age of 100 was to be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Loraine Methodist Church.
Officiating was to be Rev. Merle Abbott. Burial was slated in the Loraine Cemetery under the direction of Wells Funeral Home of Roscoe.
Born October 24, 1857 in Searcy, Arkansas, she married William Hugh Finley in 1874 and they moved to Texas 10 years later, settling at Hico.
They moved to a farm north of Loraine in 1907 and into Loraine a few years later.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lily Bennett of Loraine, Mrs. Ira Crownover of Odessa
and Mrs. L.D. Sowell of Carlton.
