Mr. jerry Joe Free, 66, of Colorado City, died Thursday, November 16, 2000 in a local care center. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Colorado City Cemtery with Dr. Bentley Gwyn officiating. Kiker-Seale Funeral Home is n charge of services.
Mr. Free was born June 23, 1934 in Colorado City to Otis and Lillian Free and had been a lifelong resident of Colorado City. He was retired from the Colorado City Livestock Auction Barn and was a Baptist.
He is survived by his mother, Lillian Free of Colorado City; a brother, James Free of Colorado City; seven sisters, Ann Boland of Modesto, California, Marie Garrett of Forsan, Wanda Escobar and Donna Solari, both of Stockton, California, Jackie Garrett of Coahoma, Opal Tackle of Bridgeport, and Rhonda Arellano of Midland.
He is preceded in death by his father, three brothers, Charles Free, Robert Free and Rex Free.
