FREEMAN RITES HELD SATURDAY

Funeral services for James Charles Freeman, 54, were held at 3 P.M. Saturday in the First Baptist Church of Loraine with the Rev. A. C. Harling and the Rev. James McKee, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Loraine Cemetery with Wells Funeral Home of Roscoe in charge.
Mr. Freeman who died at 2:30 A.M. Friday at his home south of Loraine was born May 13, 1912 in Mitchell County where he was a farmer and rancher. He married Elsa Bauman December 14, 1963, in Roscoe, Texas and was a member of the Loraine Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, his step-father, Jess Lee of Loraine, two step-sons, Lester Bauman of Fort Worth and Edgar Bauman of Kerby, Oregon; one step-brother, Burdette B. Lee of Colorado City; one step-sister, Wilma Hudgens of Loraine; four step grandchildren and several aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers were Olan Lee, Terry Turnbow, Melvin Bauman, Alfred Hackfield, Bob Looney, and Raymond Althof.
