COLORADO CITY – Raymundo Gonzalez, 79, died Thursday, February 18, 2010.

He was born in Devine on April 26, 1931, to Nemicino and Porfida Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by one brother, Juan Gonzalez and two sisters, Paulina Agiaga and Juana Gonzalez.

Survivors include his wife, Lucia R. Gonzalez; five brothers, Matias, Jose, Benny, Reyes and Francisco; three sisters, Maria, Simona and Irma; two sons, Johnny and Paul Gonzalez, both of Colorado City; seven daughters, Frances Salazar and husband, Tony, Calistra Arguijo, Pauline Rosales, Theresa Chavarria, Martina Gonzalez, Mary Lou Gonzalez, Maria Gutierrez, all of Colorado City; 34 grandchildren; and 52 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Gonzalez was buried February 22, 2010 in the Westbrook Cemetery in conjunction with St. Ann's Catholic Church.
