COLORADO CITY -- Mrs. Petra Guerrero, age 61, died on Monday, June 28, 2010 in Lubbock. Family received friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 1 and Friday, July 2 from 6-8 p.m. and Rosary was held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial was Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating. Burial followed in the Mitchell County Cemetery.

Mrs. Guerrero was born on October 19, 1948 in Roscoe to Esequiel and Cecilia Flores Davila. She was a longtime resident of Colorado City and a homemaker. Mrs. Guerrero married Lupe Guerrero on January 8, 1971 in Colorado City.

She leaves behind her husband, Lupe Guerrero of Colorado City; daughter, Irma Salazar and husband, Paul, Jr. of Colorado City; granddaughter, Adrianna Muñoz of Colorado City and grandsons, Alexander Salazar, Jeremiah Salazar and Felix Muñoz, all of Colorado City; sister, Esther Flores of Colorado City; and brother, Willie Davila and wife, Margie of Colorado City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Norma Salazar, six brothers, and three sisters.

Pallbearers were Jessie Flores, Alexander Salazar, Edward Flores, Felix Muñoz, Jr., Eloy Salazar and Mikie Salazar.
