COLORADO CITY ~~ Funeral for Don Guitar, 51, Colorado City businessman who died at his home at 4 p.m. Thursday after a long illness, is pending at Kiker and Son Funeral Home here.
Born in El Centro, California, January 1, 1919, he had lived here most of his life. He was a retired manager of Continental Oil-Cotton Company, a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and a World War II Air Force Veteran.
He was a graduate of high school here and attended Kemper Military Institute and the University of Texas.
Surviving are his wife, Freddie; three daughters, Mrs. Rica Waldron of Dallas, and Peggy and Sara, both of the home; a sister, Mrs. John LaBlanc of Lafayette, Louisiana.
